Animators, sculptors and texture artists will configure Blender differently to suit their workflow. Unlike environments devoted solely to coding, Blender is a Swiss Army Knife. If the scripts below raise errors, please check the change log to see if the API has changed since the script was written. Its user interface and API change just as fast.
It is an update of an older tutorial written 3 years ago for Blender 2.79. This tutorial was written with Blender version 2.92. We’ll write some Python scripts to animate geometry, add modifiers and constraints, create materials with Open Shading Language (OSL), and end with a glimpse at Blender’s grease pencil. This is written for readers with some experience creative coding who wish to expand their toolset. Furthermore, its source code is available online. Blender is free software in the sense that no payment is required to download and use it. This tutorial’s aim is to encourage creative coders to try Blender as a platform for procedural artwork. Next tutorial will be on setting up a scene in an “old west cowboy” town … with some animation included in the tutorial.Dots arranged on a distorted Fibonnaci sphere.
Otherwise I will continue to share update of my tutorial here. Let me know if it is not appropriate to post here in this forum. Otherwise it will be very long tutorial but the assets will be provided with a brief walk through where possible. Most of these tutorial will demonstrate only selected “techniques” use in Blender to “enhanced” some of the selected assets.

About 2 months ago I had started making tutorial with voice over (using OBS) on how to setup “scenes” in Blender to support my partner “music video”.
